Anywhere Enterprises was founded in 2003 with the goal of providing a file-sharing service based on private storage accounts. Anywhere takes a strong tack against the current trend in file-sharing based on P2P technologies.

Anywhere's technologies support a central private storage account for each user. With multiple tools for access to accounts enabling users multiple access points to their files.

Sharing with friends, family and colleagues is enabled through access lists. An Anywhere user folder can be setup with an access list with those people with permission to see the contents of that folder. Collaboration is even supported through trusted friends. Trusted friends can modify files in a shared folder.
